History
The Company was founded in 1946 by Willy Sauter, a qualified precision engineer. In his workshop, this gifted craftsman built special machines for local industrial undertakings. Over the course of many decades, what was once a small business has now evolved into an internationally successful high-tech company employing over 350 people. Today, Sauter is well known as a specialist in the field of tool holder systems.
