Sauter Feinmechanik GmbH has ended its joint venture in Asia and is concentrating on Germany

In the future, Sauter Feinmechanik GmbH will again produce and offer its services exclusively under the "Made in Germany" label: The joint venture in Asia for the production of tool turrets has ended, and the assembly factory in Hungary has been closed. The company is thus once again concentrating all activities at its headquarters in Metzingen.

Anniversaries honoured at Sauter Feinmechanik

The traditional high-tech company SAUTER Feinmechanik, based in Metzingen, honours its long-standing employees.

This year, 17 employees will be honoured for their 40, 25 and 10 years of service to the company. The anniversary employees look back together on their many years of experience, projects and successes at SAUTER.

Testing department expands

SAUTER expands research and development

The technology leader for tool turrets SAUTER FEINMECHANIK is gradually expanding its test department. With the machine tool ARTERY by J.G. WEISSER sets new standards for the high-tech company from Metzingen. In addition to this multifunctional high-precision turning center, SAUTER is equipping its extended test rooms with innovative test benches and expanding its research and development floor space by more than 25 percent. The goal: even more reliable products for maximum process reliability.

Sauter: RT Torque and RT Speed rotary tables

High rigidity, easy handling

Sauter, system supplier for machine tools, has extended its service portfolio even further: With its new directly-driven rotary table series, the company has taken its problem-solving expertise to the next level for equipping highly-productive machining centers. Sauter’s rotary tables are designed to offer precision, high rigidity, and a user-friendly design.

The first automatic turret for static and driven tools

Sauter Feinmechanik at the AMB 2018

For the AMB, Sauter Feinmechanik has developed a special tool turret called Robofix, for use in lathes. It is considered an efficiency-boosting interface, which is automated for the first time, for fixed and driven turning tools, Sauter points out. Hall 4 at Stand C53.

Torque rotary table for high quantities

Sauter’s new rotary table comes in two types: 'RT Torque' for high torques or 'RT Speed' for high speeds. Both are directly driven and can accommodate a rotary union, which can be used to supply up to ten ports with media such as hydraulic oil, coolant or air, as standard.

Sauter’s torque rotary table is the answer to greater productivity
