Environmental awareness plays a key role at Sauter: Greater energy efficiency and lower absolute energy consumption are important goals here at Sauter. And ones that we are determined to achieve. We make all our decisions about measures that concern energy consumption and all investment decisions on the basis of our networked energy management concept. Energy efficiency is factored into every structural and technical development and thanks to the energy management system, we can record the consumption levels of all machines.

The result? The percentage of feasible energy efficiency measures we have implemented has risen from 60% in 2001 to almost 100%.
